OK - so I've really gone back on my word and not blogged for a month :o( I started with all the right intentions but an unexpected busy January got in the way, that combined with too many early nights curled up with the dogs in front of a log fire!
For years we've wanted to find a name for our bed that was short, snappy and above all easier to remember. We finally agreed on Hi-K9 and have now got our new logo which we're really excited about.

Decisions, decisions, decisions ...
Trying to decide whether we should do the Jagd & Hund show in Dortmund, Germany at the end of January. It all seems like a very good idea but it means losing my hubby for 9 days :o( It wouldn't be so bad if we could all go but daughter has school and I have to make sure everything runs smoothly in the office. Hopefully we'll be doing Interzoo in Nuremberg in May so I'll get to visit Germany myself then.

Lazy day ...
Well ... I promised myself I would blog a little each day and since there are only 20 minutes left I thought I better say a quick hello rather than do nothing.
It's an early start tomorrow for us all as our daughter goes back to school :o( Had a great weekend, lots of good food and company and a couple of runs out with the whippets. The health kick also starts for us all in this house tomorrow, need to get fit (well fitter!) for the show season starting in April. I expect we'll all be a tad grumpy for the next few days but hopefully we will get through it!

It's the weekend!
It's been a really busy first week back and the weather has been pretty miserable so we're hoping to get out a few times over the weekend with the dogs who are desperate for a good run and lots of attention.
We've also just picked up 150 meters of VetBed that needs cutting ready to be stitched next week into VetBed sleeves - as modelled by the beautiful Bling below at the LKA in December.

Oh baby it's cold outside!
Bbrrrr! Time to light the fire, batten down the hatches and enjoy the last night of having the Christmas Tree lights twinkling in the background.
The office has been a hive of activity today, with lots of new beds going out with the courier tonight, think the courier was a bit fed up when he saw the mountain he had to load onto his van - but hey! With all the mail order and website activity we've had in the last week I can only assume that lots of people have visited friends or family that use our beds and have decided to buy too - long may it continue!
Have also made the decision to do Manchester Championship Dog Show again this year, we were planning on giving it a miss but have had so many people asking if we're going to be there and the organisers have given us a great spot so couldn't really say no. We'll be on the corner at the top of the stairs just near the bar area (handy!), so if you're going and want to try your dog on a bed, receive more information or get a great show offer please come and see us.

Almost over ...
Well I almost broke my promise yesterday of blogging everyday but decided that a photo still counts so uploaded one of our daughter & the Whippets lounging about on their bed! This is how they stayed for most of the day, apart from the odd bit of mooching about to steal food and reposition themselves on their other bed in front of the fire.
Today is the last day we are officially off work so making the most of it with a family trip to Manchester Museum followed by an early meal at Zouk Tea Bar. Then it will be back home, light the fire, film on and cuddle up with the Whippets whilst trying to clear the mountain of cheese we have accumulated over the festive period, all washed down with a good port - bliss!
Think we will be easing ourselves into work tomorrow, lots of deliveries to get out and special orders to start on. We'll also be starting to plan our year and deciding which shows we'll be at this year.
